AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) can speed you up enormously — scaffolding, boilerplate, tests, and explanations.

Use them well

• Read every suggestion — you own the code, not the model.
• Verify with tests — generated code can be subtly wrong.
• Mind security — don't paste secrets; review for vulnerabilities.
• Learn, don't just paste — ask the assistant why.

The mindset

Treat the assistant as a fast junior pair-programmer: great ideas, needs supervision. Used this way it makes you faster and a better engineer — not a worse one.
